A story in the post, one month at a time. Here is everything that happens between joining and the last envelope.

Choose how you want to read
Monthly membership sends one envelope a month for as long as the story runs. The whole-story option is a single payment for every installment. The gift option posts the series to someone else, starting on a date you choose.

Tell us where the post should go
Checkout asks for a postal address and an email. The email is only used to say an envelope is on its way, and to send a short reading note now and then.

Watch the letterbox
Installments go out in the first week of the month. Inside each envelope is a letter or document from the story, one or two story objects, and a short note from the club. There is no app, no login, and nothing to charge.

Read along
Everyone opens the same installment in the same week, so you can trade theories with other members if you like. The story ends when the last envelope lands, and a new one begins a few months later.
What is in the envelope
- A letter, printed on heavy paper and folded by hand
- One or two story objects: a clipping, a ticket, a pressed leaf, a photograph
- A short note from the club about that month’s installment
- A real stamp and a real postmark, posted from Ireland
Why slow
A serialised story is meant to be waited for. A month between installments gives the last letter time to settle, and gives you something to look forward to that is not on a screen.
If waiting is not your thing, the whole-story option still arrives one envelope a month. We are firm on that part.
