Questions and answers

If yours is not here, write to us. We answer everything, eventually by post if you prefer.

What exactly arrives in the post?

One envelope a month containing that month’s installment of the story: a printed letter or document, one or two small story objects, and a short note from the club. Everything is physical. There is nothing to log in to.

How long does a story run?

The Keeper runs for six monthly installments. Future stories may be shorter or longer, and we will always say up front how many envelopes to expect.

Can I join part-way through?

Yes. New members start from the first installment so the story makes sense, and catch up one envelope a month. If you would rather receive the back installments together, choose the whole-story option.

Do you post outside Ireland?

We post to Ireland, the UK, the EU and the US. Postage is included in the membership price. Delivery times vary by country, and we allow for that when we schedule each installment.

When do envelopes go out?

Installments are posted in the first week of each month. Members receive a short email when their envelope is on its way.

Is it a good gift?

It is a very good gift. Choose the gift option, tell us the recipient’s address and a start date, and write a card that we will tuck into the first envelope.

Can I cancel?

Monthly members can cancel at any time and will receive any installment already paid for. The whole-story option is a single payment for the complete series.

Is the story suitable for children?

The Keeper is folk horror for adult readers. It is unsettling rather than gory, but we would not recommend it for readers under sixteen.
